The Competence and English Skills Development Project was organized by Lecturer Haseeyah Dorosae from 10 to 11 February 2024. The project aimed to enhance English skills among third-year students by inviting guest lecturer RUDELYN C. CABILI. The focus of the project was on developing English skills based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This initiative was particularly important for students in the Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance, and Investment Program as it recognized the crucial role of English proficiency in meeting the demands of the 21st-century labor market. By laying a strong foundation in English language skills, the project aimed to equip students with the necessary competencies to succeed in their academic and professional pursuits. Additionally, the project aimed to prepare students for English proficiency tests according to the University’s standards.
