History

Bachelor of Accounting is the curriculum developed from the Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting Program, which has started using the curriculum since B.E. 2531 (1988 ) until now (more than 34 years). The curriculum has been improved by not less than five times, as the Liberal Arts Program, in the Business Administration and Management field. This curriculum was called the Bachelor of Liberal Arts Program in Business Administration Program in Accounting. Later, in B.E. 2543 (2000), its name of the curriculum was changed from “Liberal Arts Program” to “Business Administration Program” Then, in B.E. 2550 (2007), the curriculum was improved as the Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting Program, by changing from Subject Program to the Program. In B.E. 2552 (2009), the subject matters were improved to get the curriculum to meet the modernity and concordant with the marketing needs. In B.E. 2555 (2012), the curriculum was adjusted contents to be concordant with the Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (TQF: HEd) and the International Education Standards for Professional Accountants (IES) until it was approved by the Federation of Accounting Professions. And the latest adjustment in B.E. 2560 (2017), the curriculum was improved according to the cycle time of improvement. The main point is to have the up-to-date contents for the curriculum pursuing the Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (TQF: HEd) and the International Education Standards for Professional Accountants (IES), and concordant with the ASEAN marketing’s needs.
